Fighting system.

Battle, Defense, and Running: - Many thanks to our sister community for this points system.

  • While we dislike the idea of implimenting anything even close to the scale of D&D, we also understand the need for a very very very small system for things like battle. We are implimenting a very simple points system to make it less likely for muns to god-mod (actively play or effect another players character without their consent or to have a character that is too powerful to be resisted by anyone).
  • Each character at the beginning of the week has a certain number of "power points".These points would be used in conflict situations. So say character A throws a punch at character B, mun A chooses whether they want that punch to hit or not, and how much force they want to put behind it. This however, will cost them points. Once you run out of points, it's as if you are completely out of energy and your only choice is to defend, run, or take damage.  Attack points are different from Defense points.
  • Characters would also have a certain number of defense points.  However, as soon as they run out they are down for the count. Not dead, but unable to defend, attack, or even run.  If a death WERE to occur, it must go in-line with the storyline, and must be presented to a mod before-hand with good reasoning as to why the character should die.
  • You may only run away twice a week. If you have already done so, you must attack, defend, or lose to the enemy.
  • When someone voluntarily takes damage without attacking or defending-- put out of commission without a struggle-- the next game week they will be awarded an extra attack or defense point(their choice). Max 5 points total.
  • Points do not rollover into the next week.
  • Characters will have different amounts of points depending on what kind of character they are. Queen Serenity has more points than Princess Serenity, who has more points than the Senshi, etc.
  • Characters should indicate that they are using points by putting (p#) or (d#) at the end of their reply. Similarly put (RUN) if you are using one of your runs.
  • Points should be used in physical and magical conflicts, not in squabbles etc. Situations where points are necessary should be fairly obvious. If you are unsure, just send a quick note to a mod.
  • There will also be a cap on how many points a character can use on one action. We will occasionally allow a character to use more, but this is a plot specific thing like a senshi gaining a new form/attack and kicking ass a little harder. When other characters gain new more powerful forms their points and caps will change too. These will be mod decisions.
  • It's not as complicated as it sounds. I promise.

Rules, Thread Format..., Etc.

  • Rules  -  Last Updated  -  10/11/07

    1. Applications - Fill it out entirely.  If you leave something blank or are not descriptive enough, I will deny your application.  Please be sure to read through all of the rules, the storyline, the powers, everything.  This will ensure your application is complete and accurate.

    2. Grammar and Spelling - I don't expect you to be perfect.  Infact, there may be times things are misspelled or you have a run-on sentence.  It happens.  I understand.  Please just do me the favor of going through your entry and reading it out loud to yourself.  If something looks or sounds funny, you may want to check www.dictionary.com to make sure it's correct.

    3. Active - Please make sure you are either participating in an open thread or writing a post in your journal itself at least twice a week.  If you have not yet started any threads with anyone, go ahead and make entries into your journal from an IC point of view.  It can be anything you want, remember, we are giving lots of liberties with characters considering there isn't a whole lot known for fact from the Silver Millennium era.

    4. Creative and Original - Do not attempt to copy and paste something from someone else or someone else's story or RP.  Be original.  Also, on the note of creativity: Lengthy posts are better than 2-liners.  Remember that we are basically writing a story with many authors!  Try and keep it at least two paragraphs for the body of the thread.

    5. Character Limits - I see no reason to place any limits upon characters.  You may apply and play as many characters as you can handle.  Remember to keep the 2 posts per week for however many characters you have.  So if you have 3 characters, that's 6 posts per week MINIMUM.

    6. Original Characters - At this time, the only "original" characters we will accept are Royalty.  In other words: King or Queen of [insert planet].  There are no records of any of the senshi having brothers or sisters.  However, if you can come up with a really good, really detailed character who is in-depth, with links to pictures of who would portray the character, etc.,. then I will have no problem with allowing you the convenience of playing an original character.

    7. Face Claim - When you choose which character you wish to play, please have a person in mind to portray that person and pictures to back it up.  You must post in the "Face Claim" with whom you wish to use as your character.  For example, if you wished to play Jadeite and you thought, perhaps, James Franco looked a lot like someone you could see playing a Jadeite character-- just find some pictures of him.  Perhaps get some LJ avatars made for you of him, some in a more good way for when he's not Evil, and some more dark looking for when he is under Beryl's command.

    8. Posting with an LJ icon - Please make sure that when you are posting your RP thread that you use an appropriate icon for whichever character you are RPing the post.  If you are RPing as Sailor Mars, you're not going to want to have an LJ icon of a cat.  It's just confusing.  So please try and keep that organized. :)

The moderators reserve the right to edit these rules if the need arises.

  • Threads

    1. Starting a Thread - In order to start a thread, you will post to sm_princesses.  The subject should be the person you are playing, time of day (Morning/Afternoon/Evening), which Kingdom your character is in, where in that Kingdom your character is, and whether it is an OPEN or CLOSED thread.  If it is OPEN then that means any characters may respond.  If it is CLOSED then there should be tags indicating whom you are seeking to interact with.  For the body, you should write around 2-3 paragraphs.  Try to make sure the first paragraph sets the scene for everyone to imagine.  Make sure you leave all the other options blank.  TAGS should have your character's name in it.  If you are not actively seeking any other specific character(s), only write your own there.
    • Example:

Subject:  Queen Serenity / Evening / Moon Kingdom / Gardens / CLOSED
Tags: queen serenity, princess serenity, luna

-descriptive paragraph of the gardens, the time of day, etc-

-descriptive paragraph about why the Queen is there, what's on her mind, why she is wandering around the gardens-

-descriptive paragraph about whom she hopes will appear... how she wishes to discuss her daughter's upcoming birthday with her, and how she needs some advice from Luna... so seeing either of them would be good-

2. Responding to a Thread - If someone starts a thread much like the one exampled above, you would use the "Post Comment" feature.  In your comment, the subject should be left blank.  The body should entail one to two paragraphs of dialogue, description, etc.  If I were Luna and I were responding to that, I would make my entrance, speak to the Queen, note how troubled she appears, etc.,.  If Princess Serenity decides she wishes to respond to the thread as well, since Luna has already responded, she must now take note of the presence of Luna, too.  The three can continue to respond back and forth through the "reply to this" feature.

3. "In Real Time" threads - You are welcome to use other means of creating RP and still have it used in this community.  If you are to RP in other messengers such as AIM or MSN, feel free to post a journal entry in your character's journal based on the encounter.  You do not have to include the log or anything.  Just make sure that if you do have interaction between the character that it is at least notated via a journal entry.

4. Journal Entries - While you are not required to make journal entries, as long as you keep up with the 2 post per week minimum at sm_princesses, it is a nice way to help develop your character.  Especially if you do any RP with this character outside of the community via AIM, MSN, etc.

Main Plot/Storyline & Subplots

Now that we have everything else out of the way, let's get down to the Storyline!

Main Storyline

The story opens with Princess Serenity's 13th birthday.  Princess Serenity is especially excited because she knows that all senshi are sent to Martial Kingdom to learn how to train in their powers on during their 13th year.  She knows she is not a senshi, but she was given a necklace by her mother just like the senshi, so she knows she is still powerful and will be trained as one.  But, Queen Serenity has a spectacular present for her daughter.  Her present is to send her, and the Silver Crystal, off to Martial Kingdom's training grounds.  There, she will learn how to wield the Silver Crystal's powers.  Princess Serenity, naturally ecstatic, will be going there for five years, along with the other Inner Senshi.  While there, they will meet the Outers (minus Hotaru who is still too young), who have been training for 2 years together already.

However, they really do not get along very well at first...  After awhile, as all things work out, they all learn just how powerful Serenity is through some spars they were having.  Eventually, the Outers recognize her as the most powerful of the nine.  Of course, during their stay on Mars, there are always visits back home once a year for a month or so, but for the most part, they live in the Phobos-Deimos Castle with the Princess of Mars.  Once Neptune and Uranus reach age 17 and Pluto reaches age 18, they leave the Martial Kingdom for good, going back to their own home planets where they will watch the outer reaches of the solar system for any trouble.

The Inners and the Princess continue their stay on Mars for 2 more years, where they become very close, like sisters, and they can continue to hone and train their powers together, rather than alone, like the Outers must now do.

It is during this time while all the Inners and her daughter are on Mars that Queen Nehelenia has her role.  She will view the solar system, in all it's happiness, power, and prosperity from her Dark Moon.  She looks down upon them with hatred-- wanting what they all have.   Queen Serenity realizes that an evil is coming, and her first instinct is to use her crystal... but she does not have it.  Since her daughter does have the Silver Crystal, at first, Queen Serenity can do nothing.  However, she calls her daughter home quickly, telling her she must rush home with the Crystal due to an emergency.  Serenity makes haste, as her mother asks, but the pilot of the ship is in such a hurry that he does not entirely fill the gas tank of the ship.

As Serenity is heading back home, there is suddenly a problem with her spaceship.  There is not enough gas to go from Mars all the way to the other side of the Earth, where the Moon is currently orbiting at the time.  It is very late at night back on the Moon, so the pilot decides rather than to bother the Queen the news that they will be inevitably late (she cannot help them anyway, Serenity has the crystal), he instead will call in the aide of the Terran Kingdom-- landing upon the Earth for refueling, some lunch, and just a few hours of rest.

While at the Gardenia Castle in the Terran Kingdom, Serenity is introduced to the King and Queen of Earth, where she then encounters Endymion.  They meet, sparks fly, but their time together is limited.  After only a few hours together, they are separated once the flight is ready to go.  The Princess confides in only Venus of the matter-- as she is the leader of the Inners and the closest friends of them all to her.  Endymion confides only in Kunzite about the matter, who is his head General of the four.

Queen Serenity is now busy planning a 17th birthday for the Princess.  She is inviting all of the royalty and senshi from every planet in the solar system.  Of course, this means that Endymion is invited.  It is a costume ball, and therefore masks are required.  Beryl manages to sneak into the party, in hopes of at least dancing with Endymion-- but then she finds out his horrible secret after seeing the two together (despite that they are wearing masks).  She is jealous beyond imagination and, in an effort not to make a huge scene at the Crystal Castle, she leaves quickly back to Earth.  Endymion and Serenity have one wonderful night together full of dancing, magic, and that first wonderful kiss... of course, this kiss happened in private, away from the rest of the party.  However, as the night draws to a close, Venus and Kunzite must make sure they are parted before anyone starts to suspect the chemistry between this masked man and the Lunarian Princess.

After going back to the Terran Kingdom, Beryl has already started to formulate a plan.  Clearly, there is something between Endymion and the Moon Princess.  She is jealousy beyond words, and starts to use her magic in order to try and 'convince' the Generals of their Prince's plan to abandon the Terran Kingdom and eventually run off with the Moon Princess.  She talks to them more and more throughout the coming months, and eventually they seem to start to believe it.

Princess Serenity, back on the Moon, longs for the Prince.  She misses him terribly and wishes to be with him forever-- but Serenity thinks that her mother would never allow it.  And so, whenever possible, she thinks up some excuse to "visit another of the Princesses", when infact, she is down on Earth visiting the Prince.  Kunzite and Venus are the only two who know of their secret love, and therefore the only two who could ever let anyone else know.  Kunzite's tongue slips up about the two while he is talking to Venus.  Servants of the Terran Kingdom hear of it and rumors start flying.  The Terran Kingdom is upset, most especially the Commoners.  The other planets eventually catch wind of it, and soon, Queen Serenity is being overwhelmed with mail, holographic messages, and messengers, telling her how wrong it is to try and uer her daughter to seduce the Prince into leaving his Kingdom.

Metallia then enters the Solar System.  Queen Serenity had been so overwhelmed by the stress she was receiving from multiple planets about this uproar of an affair, that she had missed it entirely... and so Metallia comes to Earth.  A being of pure evil, she seeks to destroy anything and everything for no real reason-- just to make others suffer.  Metallia feeds on that negative type of energy, and so when she detects the immense hatred and jealousy that Beryl has, she seeks her out and makes a deal with her.  In exchange for power beyond imagination, Metallia wishes to infuse herself with Beryl's body-- thus giving her an outlet for her constant need for this negative energy to feed on.  Beryl agrees, and slowly starts to brainwash the Generals against Endymion through use of Metallia's powers.  The Terran Kingdom has now gotten to the point where they are picking and chosing reasons to hate the Lunarians.  They have longer life spans, they have a beautiful Princess and Earth does not, their Princess wants to steal our Prince, etc.,.  Eventually, war will break loose, and the peace-- shattered.

[I've left quite a lot out here at the end on purpose.  I want us to be creative, so instead of just telling a story here, I want to be able to let our player's minds run free.]

Want to submit a Sub-plot or add more events to the above Storyline?

These are basically the "stories on the side"... things that are going on within the main storyline.  The idea is that while these parts of the RP help to develop the story itself, and the characters therein, it is not REQUIRED to move the plot forward.  If you wish to submit a sub-plot, or even think there should be something added to the main storyline, please leave a comment below.  That way we may review it.  If it is something the mods like, then we will un-screen your comment, and add it to the sub-plots below. :)

Sub-Plots

    • There are no sub-plots at this time.

Here, you can view more information on each character, including:  their powers, their kingdoms, who lives where, and what their alignment is.  Please read the entire thing carefully, as some things may have changed from the information you know.

  • People

    1. [Royalty / Civilians]: The Kings, Queens, and any other nobility that are non-senshi fall under this category.  They are not directly involved in anything except ruling a planet, possibly parenting a senshi, etc.  The advisors to the throne also fall under this category: Luna and Artemis.  While they do have a bit of power, they are not powerful enough to be actual senshi (this is not PGSM based, so there is no Sailor Luna).    Feel free to get creative with allowing your character powers, but be sure you include negative weaknesses to using said power... they are not senshi and therefore cannot wield tremendous power so easily.  Please limit yourself on powers here, don't go over 2 for civilians/royalty (with the exception of any characters listed at the bottom of this entry who have limits set specifically for them)

    2. [Villians]: There are a few people who fall under this category.  I shall list them so there is no confusion.  Neherenia, Queen of the Dark Moon.  Metallia, whom we will consider as thus:  An alien being of unknown origin, who is attracted to hate, jealousy, and those who crave power.  A type of leech.  Metallia is a parasite who can embody a powerful person and thereby increase that person's power tenfold.  Metallia will come to Earth and leech off of Beryl's jealousy, hatred, all of her negative energies.  Beryl will be a playable character and will also delve into magicks.  Therefore, becoming 10x more powerful than previously... thus giving her an advantage when she attacks the Moon Kingdom.  Eventually.  Beryl, the Generals, and any civilian Earthlings are the only ones who may cross categories into this one.  Beyond that, you require a mod's permission to change from good to evil or vice versa.

    3. [Senshi]: Our RP will be based heavily around the Solar System.  Meaning from the Sun to Pluto.  There will be no senshi outside of that who will be involved (No one from Kinmoku, etc).  The basic eight senshi are thus:  Sailor Mercury, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Saturn, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto.  There is no Sailor Moon in the past.  Queen Serenity wields the Silver Crystal (the Ginzuishou), Princess Serenity is only a Princess, she is powerful, but she is not Sailor Moon in the past.  Only in the Present.  Also, "Serena" aka "Usagi" are names which her human parents gave to her when she was reborn.  So Princess Neptune is not Michiru Kaiou.  Though, if you choose that name on the Application, make sure you follow the Application's rules carefully and name her Michiru Neptune.
  • Places

    1. [Moon Kingdom]: In the Moon Kingdom, which is rather small by comparison to the other Kingdoms, there are a few different places that you can be.  Most are self-explanatory.  There's the Crystal Castle, the Gardens, the Stables.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  The Common Quarters - a place where non-royalty live.  These are townhouse-like buildings.  Inside, there is one room for every (1) adult.  At the age of 13, one is considered an adult and acquires their own room (this rule is in place for the children of the commoners).  Families are assigned to live in specific homes depending on the size of their family.  Any family can be relocated at any time with a 30-day notice.  The Travel Quarters - where everyone, royalty and commoner, use their means of transportation.  Within each planet, there is a train system in place (sort of like a subway), though there are roads inbetween the homes and palaces to walk (or ride animals) to and from.  There is also a separate section of the Travel Quarters in which ship-like crafts are used to travel between the planets.  The temperature on this planet is controlled by the eco-dome, so it is about the same as Earth.  Also, the Main Computer which controls the environment of the atmosphere inside of the Dome which houses the kingdom is here.

    2. [Diamond Kingdom]: The name of the Kingdom of Mercury.  Some names are self-explanatory, such as Mariner Castle and the Gardens.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  Research Quarters - Where the Mercurian scientists study advanced food genetics, advanced space travel, and advanced medical research.  Since no diseases or anything exist in this time period, they mostly focus on advancing their space travel to be faster and how to produce food at a higher rate, since population is always growing. It is extremely hot during the day and extremely cold at night on this planet.

    3. [Freedom Kingdom]: The name for the Kingdom of Venus.  Most place names are self-explanatory, such as Magellan Castle, the Gardens, and the Stables.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  Drama Academy - Here, young men and women go to train and learn to be actors and actresses.  They study from teachers from all across the solar system, hoping one day to be a star on the broadcasting company's roster, The Stage which is housed on the planet Jupiter. It is warm all day and night here.  Sometimes get very hot due to the thick atmosphere.

    4. [Terran Kingdom]: The name for the Kingdom of Earth.  Most place names are self-explanatory, such as Gardenia Castle, the Gardens, and the Stables.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  Illusion Academy - Those who are not gifted with any powers go here to train their mind and body.  Some see improvements and learn magick.  It is a program which commoners may enroll their children at the age of 4.  Their children attend that instead of normal school and if they show no signs of improvement by the age of 6, then the teachers advise to move their children into regular school for normal teachings. Having four seasons, this planet is usually warm during the day and cold at night.  Sometimes changes with the seasons.

    5. [Martial Kingdom]: The name of the Martian Kingdom.  Most place names are self-explanatory such as Phobos-Deimos Castle, the Gardens, and the Stables.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  The Military Quarters - Where the senshi come to train and hone their skills.  Princess Serenity generally will come there while they are training, and she also learns to wield powers here.  Queen Serenity will visit here from time to time to talk Military with the King.  Common Quarters - a place where non-royalty live. This planet experiences the same types of weather as Earth and Jupiter.

    6. [Vibrant Kingdom]: The name for the Kingdom of Jupiter.  Most place names are self-explanatory, such as Io Castle and the Gardens.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  The Dragon Stables - Where dragons are born and raised.  They are the main source of transportation on this planet instead of horses or trains.  The Stage - The name of the broadcasting company for all the solar system.  They provide every home with a holographic projector in order to communicate between worlds or just neighbors next door.  They also provide different channels on the holographic projector for entertainment.  There are different shows where people act out different plays which they write. The Travel Quarters - where everyone, royalty and commoner, use their ship-like crafts which can travel between the planets.  Within this planet, there are roads inbetween the homes and palaces to walk or ride dragons to and from.  This planet experiences the same types of weather as Earth and Mars.

    7. [Science Kingdom]: The Kingdom of Saturn.  There is not much life on this planet, and so there are no "Common Quarters".  Instead, those who do live here, live at the Academy.  Most are self-explanatory such as the Titn Castle and the Gardens.  Those which require a bit more explanation are as follows.  The Scientific Academy - Here, scientists gather to learn how to bring back any extinct animals through the use of their bones.  Also, this is where young adults can train to become scientists.  The Travel Quarters - where everyone, royalty and commoner, use their means of transportation.  Within each planet, there is a train system in place (sort of like a subway), there are no roads.  There is also a separate section of the Travel Quarters in which ship-like crafts are used to travel between the planets.  It is generally warm during the day and extremely cold at night.

    8. [Desert Kingdom]: The Kingdom of Uranus.  There is not much life on this planet, and so there are no "Common Quarters".  Instead, those who do live here, live at the Dragon Stables or in the Castle.  The Miranda Castle is where the Royalty and nobility of Uranus lives.  The Dragon Stables - Where dragons are born and raised.  Many people spend a lot of their life training and raising these dragons, and so this is where a lot of people live in order to domesticate them.  They are the main source of transportation on this planet instead of horses or trains.    The Travel Quarters - where everyone, royalty and commoner, use their ship-like crafts which can travel between the planets.  Within this planet, there are roads inbetween the stables, travel quarters, and palace to walk or ride dragons to and from.  It is generally hot here, but cools off a bit at night.

    9. [Marine Kingdom]: The Kingdom of Neptune, which houses the Triton Castle.  There are a few places which require a bit of explanation.  The Dolphin Stables - Where dolphins are born, raised, and trained.  They are the main source of transportation on this planet instead of horses, dragons, or trains.  The Common Quarters - a place where non-royalty live.  These are townhouse-like buildings, except underwater.  Inside, there is one room for every (1) adult.  At the age of 13, one is considered an adult and acquires their own room (this rule is in place for the children of the commoners).  Families are assigned to live in specific homes depending on the size of their family.  Any family can be relocated at any time with a 30-day notice.  The Travel Quarters - where everyone, royalty and commoner, use their ship-like crafts, which can travel between the planets.  Within this planet, there are no roads inbetween the homes and palaces, instead there is a tubing system for those who wish to walk.  All of the homes are underwater and under domes.  The people of Neptune have learned how to breathe underwater over the years, and therefore can viably ride their dolphins anywhere they please.  The water generally makes this planet a comfortable warm during the night and cool during the day.

    9. [Desolate Kingdom]: The Kingdom of Pluto.  There is not much life on this planet, and so there are no "Common Quarters".  Instead, those who do live here, live at the Dragon Stables or in the Castle.  The Charon Castle is where the Royalty and nobility of Uranus lives. The temperature is generally extremely cold all day and night.

    10. [Gates of Time]: Here, the Guardian of Time stands.  She is ever watchful, and while she is here, she is ageless.  Time stops here, and you may travel back and forth inbetween the present, the past, and the future by using these gates.  Only those who were gifted with a Time Key by the Guardian may pass through the gates, though.

[Mercury] - Her powers a derived from mainly Ice, Cold water, and Science.  She has defensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power:  Ice and Water.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Venus] - Her powers are derived from Love, Beauty, and Warmth.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Warmth, Beauty, Love.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Mars] - Her powers are derived from Fire and Warfare.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Fire.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Jupiter] - Her powers are derived from Lightning, Nature, and Science.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Lightning and Nature.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Saturn] - Her powers are derived from the Mind, Death, and Science.  She has extremely offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: the Mind and Death.  Remember the extremely offensive side of her, you can literally end the world by using the wrong attack, so use her powers with caution.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Uranus] - Her powers are derived from Fire, Earth, and Science.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Fire and Earth.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Neptune] - Her powers are derived from any bodies of Water, Ocean, or the Sea.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Water, Ocean, or the Sea.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Pluto] - Her powers are derived from Lightning, Death, and Science.  She has offensive powers.  You may use any of her Anime or Manga attacks, or make up your own.  Just be sure you are sticking to her primary source of power: Lightning, Death, and Science.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Luna & Artemis] - They do not have any defined powers, but those who choose to RP these characters may make some up.  The only "definite power" that they possess is to be able to change into Humans.  Please do not go overboard with making up powers for them.  The limit is 2 made-up attacks/powers.
[Queen Serenity] - She possesses the Silver Crystal, aka Ginzuishou, and therefore has tremendous power.  There was never any defined power for her, except when she is able to banish evil and save souls for Rebirth.  I will therefore limit 2 powers to Queen Serenity's player that they may make up BESIDES the two I have mentioned.  The person who plays her may also make up names for these powers and use them as such at appropriate times during play in the storyline.  Please remember that she is AGELESS, with the appearance of an 18-year-old, quoted directly from Naoko's Materals Collection.
[Princess Serenity] - She is the daughter of Queen Serenity, and while she is not a senshi, she is still very powerful.  While she has no defined powers in the Anime or Manga as Princess Serenity, she clearly can wield the Silver Crystal, aka Ginzuishou, and use it's power.  I will place a limit of 3 powers/attacks for Princess Serenity's player to choose to make up... If the power/attack requires the use of the Ginzuishou, then they will have to acquire said item from Queen Serenity before using it.
[Prince Endymion] - The heir to the Terran throne of Earth.  He has no defined powers in the Manga/Anime as Prince Endymion, though he is clearly quite skilled with a sword.  One can assume he is very interested in the military and very active in it, due to his full body armor.  I put a limit of 3 powers/attacks on Prince Endymion's player to make-up.  Please stick to his source of power, which would be the Earth.  Try and be creative.
[Jadeite] + [Kunzite] + [Zoisite] + [Nephrite] -  None of the Generals have any defined power in the past.  Though, I would like to assign elements to each in order to separate them a bit.  Jadeite - Fire, Kunzite - Air, Zoisite - Earth, Nephrite - Water.  Please be creative when thinking up powers/attacks for them.  Fire can include heat, actual fire, meteors, etc.  Air can be tornados, wind, anything.  Earth can include ANYTHING that can come from the ground including ivy vines, roses, etc.  Water can include ice, drowning, fog, etc.  The limit on attacks/powers for them is 3 per General.
[Beryl] - Beryl has no defined powers.  The player who plays her may make it up.  Please remember that she is an Earthling, so I believe her powers cannot go any further than the 4 Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water.  Once Metallia merges with her, she takes on all of Metallia's powers.  I ask that you limit Beryl alone's powers/attacks to 2.  Once she merges with Metallia, she may have up to 4...  When she is not evil, she has jeweled earrings, exactly like her evil form, but when she is good the jewel on her forehead is just part of a tiara sort of headpiece.  Whereas, when she is evil, the jewel is part of an actual crown.
For a more exact idea on what Beryl should look and act like, please refer to this picture from an awesome website, The Oracle.
[Metallia] - Her power is over the mind.  Brainwashing, luring, damaging the mind, illusions, etc.,.  All of it.  Keep these things in mind when choosing her powers.  Limit for her by herself is 3.  Once she merges with Beryl, Beryl will learn all of her powers except 1 so that Beryl will only have 4 powers total.
[Queen Neherenia] - Her powers should be focused around Beauty, Dreams, and Death.  Considering she does not have a large role in this story, someone who plays her can make up 3 powers/attacks of hers.  Her planet is the Dark Moon, in a different solar system, which later becomes known as the Dead Moon due to her killing everyone.  Remember what happens to her, though.  She is a beautiful Queen who looks in her mirror one day (think of the evil queen in Snow White).  The mirror shows her still as Queen later, but old and ragged looking.  So in a desperate attempt to keep her beauty, she steals the dreams of all of her servants and nobles, leaving her on a deserted, dead Moon.  Queen Serenity sees what happened to her and, in order to keep Neherenia from killing anyone in her solar system, she banishes/seals away Neherenia.  And that is the end of her role in this RP.

[Application]
Alright, so you wish to apply even after reading all the rules, the storyline, and the available characters list?
Please be sure to fill this out entirely, as your application will most certainly be rejected if you do not.  Remember to make a comment here on this entry with the finished application.

Player Information:

  • Player Name: -your name-

  • Livejournal name: -If you don't have one, please register for one.  They are free!-

  • E-mail: -your email-

  • Messenger: -Optional-

  • Age: Required. If you are under 13 you should not be playing in this game as it contains adult themes.  I figure 13 is a good cut-off since there will be nothing too graphic.

Character Information:

  • Name:  -FULL Name.  If they have no "official" last name, feel free to make one up (this mainly applies to civilians/royalty such as Queen Serenity).  For the Senshi, please use a first name of your choice and their last name would be the name of their planet.  Please be sure if you are choosing a senshi to add their alias here as well.  [EX: Haruka Uranus a.k.a. Sailor Uranus OR  Krystianna Syndriel, Queen of the Earth]

  • Nicknames: -If none, please note that-

  • Age:  If you are applying for one of the Kings or Queens of the planets, please choose an appropriate age depending on the age of their son/daughter.  Queen Serenity is ageless, but appears to be 18, quoted directly from Naoko's Materials CollectionThis is their age at the beginning of the storyline.  So please remember this is starting when they are all YOUNG.  Pluto is 16.  Uranus, Neptune, Beryl, Endymion and Kunzite are 15.  Zoisite, Nephrite, and Jadeite are all 14.  Sailor Moon, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter are all 13.  Saturn is 10.  Enter character ages accordingly.

  • Planet: -planet your character is from-  If you are applying for Metallia, please put "Unknown", if you are applying for Neherenia, please put "Dark Moon: in a different, unknown solar system." If you are applying for Luna or Artemis, please put "Mau, but living on Moon/Venus", as that is the planet they are originally from and where they are currently living.

  • Alignment: hero, royalty (king/queen), civilian (Beryl is a civilian before she turns evil!), villain. Mod approval is required if you wish to change your alignment later for plot purposes.  Beryl, Jadeite, Nephrite, Kunzite, and Zoisite are all "Civilians" until they are turned evil.  So please put Civilian for them for the time being.  Please explain also who they most often "team up" with, or if they are usually on their own.  Go into detail a bit here, please.

  • Colors: ex. Uranus=navy blue and gold. Not all characters will have colors.

  • Powers: Be Thorough. We're not asking for just the names of their attacks (though you should know them), we're asking what their actual powers are, strengths and weaknesses, etc. This includes physical and mental abilities.

  • Physical Description: -Be descriptive, at least 2 paragraphs-

  • Personality:  -Be descriptive, at least 2 paragraphs-

  • Background: -Be descriptive, at least 1 paragraph-

  • Plot: What would you like to see happen to your character throughout the entire storyline?  Be specific and creative here!

  • Inventory: What does your character carry on them at all times, and what would they have access to? List the possessions in their room, etc. This could include jewelery and weapons. If said possessions have any powers, please note.  Please remember that every Princess of the solar system is given a necklace by Queen Serenity, thus marking them as a senshi.  Please be sure to list it, what it looks like, etc.  Each one in the Manga looks exactly alike, but up close, could have different qualities... that's up to you to decide.  If you are unsure what sort of things your character might have, try looking over these pictures at this link.

  • Other: -anything else you feel needs to be listed which was not previously asked on the application-
